Lough Gara Lodge is centered in a unique location at the gateway to the West and North West of Ireland. From its hillside location, the small village of Monasteraden commands striking views over the Lakes of Lough Gara, and beyond to the Plains of Boyle. Ideal as a stop off on a touring holiday or for longer stays, the lodge is very conveniently located to a large variety of local attractions, heritage centres, activity venues and parks, some of which are world class.
The map below indicates our position (with a red star). It also displays the locations of these venues and can supply directions to them from the lodge. We have also colour coded the map markers to help you narrow your search to venues that interest you.
